Erica Jane Avery I Maternity

Erica was 7 months pregnant with Elena when she approached me about a maternity session. Not only was I flattered she asked me to photograph her, but I was so excited when we began discussing the style and execution of the shoot. After some discussion about the location, we decided it would be the most personal and meaningful to photograph this stage in her life at her home.

As soon as we started, Erica lit up from the inside out. I could even tell baby Elena was excited because I felt a few kicks during our time together! The images from this session exemplify what it means to have a pregnancy glow. One thing that is very important to me is to make any momma to be feel her best. It’s a time when a woman goes through so many changes, both physically and emotionally, so my goal is to make them feel like a queen. I can honestly say I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. It was absolute perfection and Erica was a rockstar.
