Mollie & Shandy I Wedding

It was such a lovely experience photographing Mollie & Shandy on their big day and I wish I could do it all over again. The couple had a wonderful vibe between the two of them. I can only describe it as true, playful, thoughtful, organic and most importantly...romantic. They were both so relaxed during the entire process and you could tell they were just blessed to be around the people that love and support them the most. It made my job quite easy.

Mollie and Shandy met in New York City through a "special algorithm"  and the two hit it off immediately. They fell in love fast and through a series of adventures on the East Coast their love grew and grew.  In 2014, Mollie was offered a job she couldn't refuse in Los Angeles and Shandy agreed to make the big move together cross-country to Southern California.  Mollie proposed in March 2015, at The Sparrow in Palm Springs, surprising Shandy under the orange trees in the back garden.  The couple exchanged vows there on January 16th, 2016.

When I asked them to describe the big day they said, "Overall it was a blur :) A big blur of happiness, joy, and gratitude.  It was perfect, it was us, and it was easy.  There is nothing in the world like the feeling of being surrounded by every friend and family member that has been there for us our lives and in our relationship.  Shandy and I are forever grateful for everyone that came and that special weekend in Palm Springs will live on within us forever."
