Lucy Marks I Newborn

Let me start off by saying that having the opportunity to shoot a newborn on Mother's Day was so rewarding, and the fact that I have known the couple for years made it even more special. Lucy arrived on April 21, 2014 and was absolutely adorable from the first moment Matt & Melody presented her to the world.

Lucy was just shy of three weeks old when we had our first newborn photo shoot at their house in Lakeview. She was all bundled up in her Matt's arms when I first walked in the door and I immediately got wide eyed. Watching Lucy gaze at the both of them during the shoot was breathtaking and being able to touch her little toes was such a treat. I went over for a second shoot this past weekend and it was so fascinating to see the changes developmentally, now that she is 12 weeks old.

I am really glad Matt and Melody can have these photographs of Lucy, and the three of them can always look back at these as she continues to grow.
